Account Executive 

LOCATION: Chantilly, VA or Remote

DEPARTMENT: Sales & Marketing                                 

STATUS:  Full-time

SHIFT:  Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:30PM ET              

PAY RANGE:    $60,000 - $75,000

 

Position summary:

We are seeking an experience Account Executive to be responsible for the sales of NCI’s captioning, subtitling, description & ancillary services to major industry segments and customers as assigned, with a continuing goal to bring more customers into NCI to increase revenue.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (include, but not limited to):

·         Evaluate and identify market potential and leads for sales of NCI’s services

·         Develop contacts for potential customers through informational and promotional literature, telephone calls, e-mail, social media, and other business development and marketing tools

·         Maintain record of leads established, company contacts, follow-up activities, etc.

·         Meet with prospective and established customers for the purpose of marketing captioning and all related services

·         Prepare and present sales proposals including RFPs and RFIs to potential customers

·         Respond to client inquiries regarding NCI’s services with general information, technical information, methods and procedures, rates, etc.

·         Coordinate committed business with Production to determine captioning schedules

·         Maintain and update client and prospect info via Salesforce.com

·         Maintain open communication with existing customers to ensure NCI visibility and customer satisfaction

·         Represent NCI at national television and media industry conventions and conferences

·         Maintain knowledge through the trade press of the entertainment industry trends

·         Provide input into formation of the Marketing Department budget and projections

·         Perform related duties which may require out-of-town travel, overtime, weekend, and evening activities

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

·         Routinely uses standard office equipment: computer and telephone

·         Ability to occasionally lift/carry company displays and marketing materials for conferences, up to 20 pounds

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

B.S. degree in Broadcast/Communications/Marketing-related field. Excellent oral and written communication skills required.  Proven ability to write and deliver sales presentations required.  Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  Must be a goal-oriented individual who has demonstrated sales ability.  Must be willing to travel.  Knowledge of captioning and interest in media access helpful.  Television industry contacts desirable.
